EARTHQUAKE relief workers in Iran are engaged in a race against time to protect the 65,000 homeless survivors of the Bam quake from diseases brought on by warmer spring weather.
Australian Red Cross worker Andrea Neale returned from Iran at the weekend reassured by the smooth operation of the international response to the December 26 earthquake which levelled the 2500-year-old regional centre in south-east Iran.
