(CNN) -- An unusual winter weather pattern is putting the squeeze on much of the Eastern United States, spreading ice and snow from Philadelphia to Atlanta, meteorologists said Monday.
At least 16 weekend deaths were blamed on the winter weather, according to The Associated Press. Dozens of airline flights were delayed or canceled, from Missouri to South Carolina, the AP reported.
